About Your Groomer

Every grooming session is designed with care, using gentle, dog-safe products and techniques. Personalized to your dog’s breed, coat, comfort, and unique personality

It is no coincidence that Cierra-known affectionately as the “Crazy Dog Lady”-found her true life’s work caring for dogs. From a young age, animals held a special place in her heart. In high school, she planned to pursue pre-veterinary science, but just four months before graduation, she faced the sudden, tragic loss of both her father and brother. The heartbreaking loss turned her world upside down, shattering her plans to pursue her degree and leaving her to navigate deep grief instead.

For years, Cierra searched for direction, trying her hand at banking, real estate, and various other fields-but nothing resonated. It wasn’t until she stepped into a role as a bather at PetSmart, completed the academy, and earned her grooming certification that everything clicked into place. As word spread and she began grooming from home, pet parents with anxious, fearful, or reactive dogs-pets that had been turned away elsewhere-began reaching out. Where others saw challenges, Cierra saw an opportunity to extend grace, patience, and love.

Today, at Crazy Dog World, Cierra lives out her dream every single day through dedicated, one-on-one luxury grooming. She credits her journey through grief with deepening her compassion for animals-not just for what she can offer them, but for the unconditional love they provided her during her darkest moments. For Cierra, pet grooming is far more than a career; it is her calling, her healing, and her life’s purpose. Every dog that enters her care receives equal opportunity to be treated with absolute patience, dignity, and respect, no matter their circumstances.

About Us
  • 01 How often should my dog be professionally groomed?

For most dogs, I recommend a full grooming session every 4 to 6 weeks to keep their coat healthy, prevent painful matting, and keep their nails at a comfortable length. Short-haired breeds may only need a bath and deshedding every 6 to 8 weeks, while long-haired or curly breeds (like Doodles and Poodles) benefit from a more frequent 4-week schedule.

  • 02 My dog is anxious or nervous. How do you handle sensitive pets?

As a private, solo groomer, your dog gets my full, undivided 1-on-1 attention from the second they walk through the door. Without the noise, chaotic energy, or extra staff of a busy commercial salon, most sensitive pups relax right away. I tailor every step of the process to your dog's specific comfort level using positive reinforcement, gentle handling, and extra belly rubs. Because it's just the two of us, we can pause for a quick breather whenever your pup needs it!

  • 03 What vaccinations do you require before an appointment?

To keep all our furry guests safe and healthy, we require proof of up-to-date Rabies vaccinations for all dogs. For grooming services, we also strongly recommend the Bordetella (Kennel Cough) and DHPP vaccines. You can easily upload your vet records during online booking or email them to us before your visit.

  • 04 How long does a full grooming appointment take?

Most full grooming sessions take between 1.5 to 3 hours, depending on your dog's size, coat condition, and temperment. Because we focus on individualized care rather than an assembly-line setup, we'll send you a text message 20-30 minutes before your pup is finished.
